Justin Fawson is the Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. He oversees shared services, accounting, marketing, and human resources, while also supporting the work of the non-profit teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, Justin plays a key role in executing strategic plans and ensuring the business operates efficiently to meet organizational objectives.

He is a seasoned strategist and policy expert with a proven track record in business development, marketing, operations, and legislative leadership. As a former city council member and Utah State legislator, he played a pivotal role in shaping local and state policy, bringing a pragmatic and fiscally responsible approach to governance.

Justin's expertise lies at the intersection of business strategy and public policy. His experience in both the private and public sectors enables him to craft solutions that align organizational goals with broader societal needs. With a commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth, Justin continues to influence policy and strategy at the state and national levels.

Justin moved to North Carolina in 2018 where he resides with his wife. They are the proud parents of four children. Justin is a Combat Veteran (1996-2005) and served deployments in New York, Afghanistan and Iraq. He holds an undergraduate degree from Westminster College (2004) and an MBA from Capella University (2013).
