Mason Phipps joined The Results Company (TRC) in 2020, bringing experience working with for-profits and non-profits to advance initiatives that drive regional growth. 
Prior to joining TRC, he supported business development and project management efforts in Charleston, South Carolina, under the guidance of Edward T. McMullen, Jr., former U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. 

With a strong background in coalition-building, capital campaigns, and strategic communications, Mason now leads economic development efforts and cultivates cross-sector partnerships across eastern North Carolina as Director of Philanthropy at the North Carolina Marine & Estuary Foundation. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College. He resides in Raleigh with his wife, Hope, and their dog, Lou. In his free time, he enjoys upland hunting in southeast Virginia and North Carolina during the winter, and fishing along the East Coast in the summer.
