Danielle Plourd is a policy and communications aficionado who has worked inside state government and the broadcast media industry. Plourd brings valued public affairs, communications and operations experience to all project clients of The Results Company.

During her time at the North Carolina General Assembly, Plourd focused on communication strategies for a freshman Senator that included public policy, stakeholder engagement, constituent services and strategic advising. During her tenure with the Senate, Plourd was recognized as a top talent for policy research and developing communications around how it affects business and citizens.

Prior to joining the General Assembly, Danielle spent four years with a local Greensboro radio station hosting events and developing promotional strategies. Additionally, Plourd has an extensive leadership and fundraising background through her involvement with the American Quarter Horse Association.

Danielle attended Appalachian State University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s in Public Relations. She went on to get her Master’s in Strategic Communication from Liberty University. She lives in West Raleigh with her husband and 2 dogs and enjoys watching sports, going to museums and exploring all Raleigh has to offer.
