Michael Lonergan is a Project Manager – Communications at The Results Company (TRC). He develops content and supports messaging strategies across newsletters, media, and digital platforms, focusing on delivering clear, timely, and effective communication for TRC and its clients.

 

Michael brings over ten years of experience in public policy communications, with a background that spans state government and political campaigns. He has delivered communications and media relations for candidates, elected officials, and advocacy groups on issues ranging from economic development and infrastructure to education, energy, and public safety. Michael’s work has included rapid-response messaging, crisis communications, and media engagement in fast-paced, high-stakes environments; experience that informs his collaborative approach at TRC.

 

Originally from New England and the Midwest, Michael now lives in Clayton with his wife, Mary Elizabeth, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar and exploring North Carolina’s beaches and mountains with his family.
