Chad Thomas is a project consultant with The Results Company (TRC) and currently serves as Executive Director of the NC Marine & Estuary Foundation. Chad joined TRC in 2021 following 30 years of service with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Prior state agency positions as coastal fisheries supervisor and research coordinator provided Chad opportunities to forge strategic partnerships in the environmental sector. Formal training in grievance mediation and conflict resolution allows him to work through contentious situations to find solutions to complex problems.

Chad has a Master of Science degree in Fisheries Biology from Tennessee Technological University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from North Carolina State University. A resident of Wilmington, he enjoys fishing, boating, and hunting.
